HEAT-SHRINK TUBING

Heat-shrink tubing, as its name suggests, retracts or shrinks when it is subjected to a source of heat, and can shrink by up to 50% of its initial size while maintaining its adhesion. It is available in a variety of materials such as polyolefin, with or without interior adhesive, PVC, Viton, Kynar, etc. This product has been awarded certifications of quality by the world’s major laboratories, including UL and CSA, and it also complies with the ROHS standards.
The shrinkage ranges from 2 to 1 up to 5 to 1, depending on the material used. The diameters available cover a wide range of requirements. The smallest available is 1.2 mm (0.6 mm shrunk) and the largest is 152.4 mm (76.2 mm shrunk). Its main features are its capacity to self-extinguish and its flame retardant properties.
